Welcome!!!

Welcome to my trip blog!  I go to a small school in Allentown, PA called Muhlenberg College. At Muhlenberg College, I'm studying media and communications as well as elementary education. With the help of an advisor I was able to make the connection with Mountains of Hope (an organization about teaching art and sustainability to both children and adults in mostly spanish) to go down and volunteer. In a little less than a week I will be flying to Ecuador and living a small village outside of Quito. While I'm there I will be working with Mountains of Hope, which is run by Sue Brown, with whom I will be living with. I'm so lucky and thankful that I have the opportunity to go to Ecuador to help teach and bond with this community.  I will be staying where there is internet access so I will be blogging, discussing and sharing my experiences while there , as well as taking many pictures.
